This market is crazy, and possibly only possible in Thailand.
For around 300 meters a railway track is also used as a normal daytime market for mainly food products. I mean the track is used as market, cafe and footpath. Rumors say it is because the merchants don’t pay for the usage of that land, may be or not. Basically 8 times a day the train is passing through this stretch, and the merchants pack away the goods and push their umbrellas at a side. Every day since decades
When the train passes it is quite exciting, as there is zero protection, just your human sense not to be hurt. And it is crowed as it is nowadays a tourist attraction with cheering folks everywhere.
