Hunting Dolphins

South of the water falls of the Mekong is still a pool where the Irrawaddy dolphins make their living. The guides told us only 3 dolphins are alive in this area – basically that means they are living dead, and will be extinct in a short time frame. We saw in the pool several times something come up and going down again. Not sure if this was a dolphin, dragon or a tourist setup, but something was there. The canoe tour took us around several parts of the Mekong river arms between the islands, while the waterfalls were reached by foot or longtail boats.
